A Package Still on the Porch? A Nudge at Dusk.
Lookwell keeps a delivery diary from your Ring doorbell or camera. If a box is still sitting out as it gets dark, it lets you know.
Every feature is included: 14-day free trial, then $3.99 a month, billed by Ring.

How It Works
How the Package Reminder Works
When Ring reports a package delivery or motion at the door, Lookwell looks at the package spot you marked and compares it with your pictures of the empty porch.
Each delivery goes in the diary with the time and a cropped picture of the box (kept 30 days, and only when no one is in it).
Still there at dusk (or 2 hours after it arrived, if you prefer)? You get a reminder, and one more at 9 PM. “I’ll grab it” tells the household; “Brought it in” closes it.
Waiting on a box that never came? The diary is a dated record of deliveries, and of the days with none, to back up a claim with the shipper.
What You Need
- A Ring doorbell or camera that sees where packages are left
- Snapshot Capture turned on for that camera (required: Ring app → Devices → the camera → Device Settings → Snapshot Capture)
- End-to-end encryption off for that camera
Good to Know
- Lookwell notices whether the spot still looks like a package is there. It can’t tell what’s inside, and it doesn’t identify anyone.
- When it can’t tell (too dark, no recent picture), the diary says “maybe” instead of guessing.
- Checks can be wrong. Lookwell isn’t a security system.
